The tuna crunch roll is very bland unfortunately. But I do love the crab Rangoon and the California roll! I wish I had experienced the storefront but I did have it delivered, which took just a few minutes over the estimated time.
Food was good...lunch menu available but EXPENSIVE. Had one lunch special (two rolls and salad) and one bento box....over 30.00! That was with water! We were one of two tables there...good but hard to justify the price.
This review is for the experience my friend Hayley and I had on Saturday, March 2nd. ^__^ We had a blast trying out a local sushi place neither of us have been to before. I've only been to a couple locations in Jackson County, Missouri and proud to say this new place was very good! I even convinced my friend to try the refreshing, crunchy goodness of seaweed salad for the first time! Which she ended up enjoying very much! It's nutty, lovely, zesty, and has been a go-to for me at pretty much any sushi place in the past for a long time. The gentlemen who served us that evening was very kind and welcoming, checked on us quite frequently which I certainly don't mind at all! And we enjoyed the quality and freshness of our seating area and meal. We weren't originally aiming for that particular location too! We had closer locations to where we were for our visit but they were all packed! But I'm glad we explored more options within our area. Moonlight Sushi was really enjoyable. The quality of customer service, how satisfying and flavorful the food was. We'll definitely go there again in the future for more sushi joy! ^__^
Great service - sushi variety is quite a selection - just ate there March 2024. Very friendly staff from greeting on entrance and thanking us on departure
BEST Sushi in the KC Metropolitan‼Service is always fast and the establishment is very clean. Setting at the Sushi Bar is my favorite! watch out for the Plum Sake though, it sneaks up on ya.
There is a closer sushi restaurant near me but I would rather drive extra to get good food with great service.
